Ali Dvorak, M.A., CCC-SLP
Ali completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University in 2011 and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa in 2013. While at the University of Iowa, Ali was a trainee in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (Iowa LEND) Program. This program trained Ali to work on an interdisciplinary team that values family-centered care, specifically in the area of autism spectrum disorders. Ali has over four years experience practicing in early intervention, schools, and in private practice. She enjoys treating children with autism spectrum and related disorders, augmentative-alternative communication (AAC) systems, and speech and language disorders. Ali's focus of therapy is increasing functional communication skills in a way that helps a child be a successful communicator in all of his or her environments. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and baking.
