Kristin Burrell, M.A., CCC-SLP
Kristin has worked as a speech language pathologist for over 10 years providing treatment to children in various clinical, school and home-based locations. Most recently, before moving to Louisville with her family, Kristin provided treatment in her small private practice servicing families in Marin County, California including home-based Early Intervention services and consulting with a variety of schools and special programs in San Francisco.
Kristin completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Michigan State University and Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Michigan University.
While Kristin is trained in and enjoys working with a broad range of communication delays and disorders, she specializes in early language development. Kristin integrates her professional training in Talk Tools, Hanen More Than Words, SCERTS, DIR/Floortime, Kaufman Speech to Language, Spalding Literacy Program and PROMPT to provide an individualized, developmentally-based intervention program for each child and their family. Making meaningful progress and staying motivated is paramount and that means having some fun too!.
