Jessica Fuentes, PT, DPT, PCS
Jessica is a Colorado native and knew from a young age she wanted to be a pediatric physical therapist. Her studies include a BS in Exercise Science from Gonzaga University- GO ZAGS! She returned to Colorado to attend Regis University and received a doctorate in physical therapy. She is also a board certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist. She is an affiliate faculty member at Regis University and is active in her professional organization- APTA. Jessica loves to analyze movement and create meaningful therapeutic programs for the children and families in her care. When Jessica founded KidSPOT, it was with the idea that children like to play and they thrive in environments that are nurturing and supportive. Jessica strives to ensure KidSPOT is a positive place for families. When Jessica is not at KidSPOT, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and being outdoors. |
Stephanie Pipp, PT, DPT Stephanie grew up in Pewaukee, Wisconsin and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She pursued her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University. Stephanie is a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team at Kaiser Permanente's Regional Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic, as well as an affiliate faculty member at Regis University, teaching in the physical therapy department. Stephanie has experience treating patients from birth to adulthood with a variety of diagnoses and conditions, in both home and clinical settings. She believes that building strong relationships are the foundation for successful therapy. When she's not at work, she's running after her two small children, riding bikes or playing tennis. |
Reagan Rupard, DPT
Reagan grew up in rural West Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Leadership & Development in 2012. After working in the energy industry for 5 years, she pursued her interests in movement and wellness by returning to school to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University in 2020. Reagan fell in love with the family-centered and participation-minded model of pediatric physical therapy and enjoys working with kids to help them reach their fullest potential. When she's not at KidSPOT, Reagan works with adults as a yoga, pilates and group fitness instructor. She enjoys watching sports, dabbling in new creative hobbies, and exploring Colorado with her partner, Tim and their dog, Roscoe. |
Occupational Therapists
Brittany Becka, MOT, OTR/L
Brittany is from Cleveland, OH. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training and Dance at Denison University. She then earned a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was the recipient of the Academic and Fieldwork award. She has worked with children in early intervention, outpatient clinics, and at a private school for students with learning disabilities. She is also a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team at Kaiser Permanente's regional Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics clinic.Brittany is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory approach to feeding, Handwriting Without Tears Program, Interactive Metronome, and Therapeutic Listening. She is part of the feeding group team and aquatic/adaptive swim program at KidSPOT. She enjoys collaborating with the child, family, and other professionals to develop family-centered care unique to each child. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. |
Amanda Calzolano, MS, OTR/L
Amanda is from Long Island, New York. She attended Springfield College in Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and Psychology, and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has received specialized training in sensory integration treatments, and has worked with children in outpatient pediatrics clinics, schools, home visits, and camp environments. In addition, she completed a fieldwork experience at American Occupational Therapy Association, where she participated in federal policy and advocacy for OT and all who use our services! Amanda is certified in the Handwriting Without Tears program for K-5 and currently completing a course to become a Basic Floortime Provider. Amanda values fun and creativity. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, coaching, playing soccer, and attending concerts and sporting events. She has wanted to live and work in Colorado for a long time, and is so happy to be here!! |
Audrey Huddleston, MS, OTR/L
Audrey is from Austin, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and a Minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Audrey initially became interested in child development while working as a student in the Texas A&M Infant Cognition Research Laboratory. She completed her capstone internship in the Dominican Republic where she had an amazing opportunity to spend time in a pediatric rehabilitation facility. Audrey then received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Abilene Christian University. She previously worked in Austin, Texas as an evaluating and treating occupational therapist at a pediatric outpatient therapy clinic. She is excited to learn and grow as an occupational therapist. In her free time, Audrey enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, walking her two dogs, and spending time with her friends and family! |
Caitlin Kraft, OTD, OTR/L
Caitlin is a Colorado native who has always loved working with children. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado. She then graduated from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Caitlin has experience working in outpatient and early intervention settings. She is certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding and Therapeutic Listening and is part of the feeding group team at KidSPOT. She enjoys working with children of all ages and diagnosis and is passionate about providing child and family centered holistic care. She is a certified kids yoga instructor and offers adaptive yoga classes for children of all ages. Caitlin has experience teaching adaptive skiing to children and is passionate about sharing her love of the mountains with others. In her free time Caitlin enjoys practicing yoga, skiing, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. |
Mia McCloy, OTR/L
Mia earned her degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001. Throughout college she worked for the Wisconsin Early Autism Project providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Soon after graduation she began working in an outpatient pediatric clinic in northern Virginia, where she treated clients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Mia utilizes her knowledge of child development and sensory integration to treat children at all stages of growth and development. Mia is certified in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach to feeding, Therapeutic Listening®, and Interactive Metronome® and has had training in a variety of other therapeutic tools. She enjoys working closely with families to develop manageable and appropriate treatment strategies to maximize the child’s potential. Additionally, she is a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team at Kaiser Permanente's regional Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics clinic. Mia is now happy to call Colorado home after having lived throughout the United States and abroad. She and her husband have two "sensational" sensory kids. Mia considers herself a grown-up sensory kid, and in her free time she can be found lifting and throwing heavy things around in her local CrossFit gym. |
Jane Rauscher, MOT, OTR/L
Jane is an experienced pediatric occupational therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, her home town. She has advanced training and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of sensory processing disorder, feeding disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her specialized professional education includes Masgutova Neurosensory Reflex Integration, Integrated Listening Systems, Therapeutic Listening, Sensory Integration and Praxis Test certification, Sequential Oral Sensory feeding therapy, and Interactive Metronome. She is a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team at Kaiser Permanente's Regional Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic. Jane has practiced in a variety of pediatric settings including early intervention, home-based, school, and outpatient clinics. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and teaches for the Discovery Yoga program at KidSPOT. She enjoys playing volleyball, yoga, skiing, traveling, cooking, knitting and reading during her free time. |
Speech Language Pathologists
Ellen Anderson, M.A., CCC-SLP
Ellen grew up in Chicago, Illinois and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Madison Wisconsin in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish. After college she moved to Boulder where she completed her Master of Arts in Speech and Language Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder. Since then she has worked with populations in preschool and elementary public school settings as well as in a private practice setting. She works to provide treatment that is responsive and individualized to the client and family. Ellen has extensive experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations including bilingual children with language and articulation difficulties. In her free time, Ellen enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and learning languages (or some of the time, at least attempting!). |
Kristin Burrell, M.A., CCC-SLP
Kristin is originally from the Midwest, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Michigan State University and master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Michigan University. Before moving to Boulder County and joining KidSPOT, Kristin and her family called San Francisco home where she had a private practice and consulted in various clinic, home and school-based settings. In addition to being a practitioner, she has supervised graduate level students in their clinical fellowship year and co-authored a paper in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research.Kristin is trained in and enjoys working with a broad range of communication disorders, she specializes in early language development. She was introduced to the DIR/Floortime model early in her professional career and it has shaped her understanding of developmental language model and how she adapts treatment to each student’s profile. She also integrates her professional training in Talk Tools, Hanen More Than Words, SCERTS, Kaufman Speech to Language, Spalding Literacy Program, and PROMPT to provide an individualized, developmentally-based intervention program for each child and their family. Making meaningful progress and staying motivated is paramount and that means having some fun too! |
Jenny D'Costa, M.A., CCC-SLP
Jenny received her Bachelor’s in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from University of Colorado Boulder and her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Miami University. She has previously worked in an outpatient pediatric clinic and a transdisciplinary preschool program. She enjoys collaborating with families to developing child and family-friendly strategies to support speech and language development. She has taken additional trainings in Social Thinking, working with children on the Autism Spectrum, and incorporating literacy into everyday speech and language. Outside of the office, Jenny enjoys spending time in the outdoors, watching our Colorado sports teams, and honing her cooking skills. |
Emily Dyer, M.S., CCC-SLP
Emily grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and completed her Bachelor degree at Missouri State University. After college she moved south to obtain her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at University of Central Arkansas. She completed several graduate student internships working with kids, including spending the Spring 2019 semester at KidSPOT Pediatric Therapies as a graduate student clinician. She enjoys collectively working with families and other therapists to help each child reach their full potential. Emily likes to channel her inner-creativity during therapy to have fun and engage with the kids! In her free time she enjoys finding new coffee shops, spending time in the mountains, and keeping up with her favorite St. Louis sports teams the Cardinals and Blues. |
Laura Meese, M.S., CCC-SLP
Laura grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and received her bachelor degree from Baylor University. After college she moved to Boston where she completed her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Massachusetts General Hospital IHP. Since then she has worked with populations in early intervention, hospital, public school and private practice. She uses a play-based, child-lead model for therapy that involves both child and parent. Laura has extensive experience with articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders, and intervention for autism spectrum disorders. She has also organized social groups for children of various ages at KidSPOT. In her free time, Laura enjoys playing with her 3 boys and 2 dogs, running, reading and enjoying the beautiful Colorado outside! |
Maegan Orzak, M.S., CCC-SLP
Maegan completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of San Diego in 2011. In 2014, she received her Masters of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University. Maegan is very passionate about helping children and their families dealing with speech and language difficulties. She believes in partnering with families to create functional, individualized treatment that generalizes beyond the clinic room. Maegan has experience treating a variety of pediatric disorders in a clinic, as well as in a middle and high school setting. She is especially interested in treating children with language disorders and pragmatic/social skills difficulties. In her free time, Maegan enjoys reading, going for walks and playing basketball, and spending time with her family and friends. |
Administration
Christine Fuentes
Business Office Manager Christine is a proud Colorado native, and has recently retired from several careers over many years. She spent 20 years as a travel agent, worked as a parapro for Boulder Valley Public Schools for 10 years and most recently retired after spending 20 years managing the training department for a Boulder based software company. She has a strong accounting background and helps support the administrative team at KidSPOT. She has four grown children and three grandchildren, and spends most of her free time enjoying those grandchildren. When she is not working for KidSPOT or entertaining her grandchildren, she enjoys music and her piano lessons. She loves children, so coming out of retirement to work part-time with the KidSPOT staff and watch the growth of children at the clinic has been a perfect fit. |
Sara Hill, MS, OTR/L
Billing Manager & Back Office Administrator Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. She is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, SOS Feeding, Astronaut Training for Vestibular Processing, and Handwriting without Tears. She enjoys working with children of all ages and has experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and genetic disorders. Sara has worked in a variety of practice settings including preschools, elementary schools, in-home pediatric therapy, and private practice. She has also worked with Adam’s Camp during the summer to provide intensive transdisciplinary therapy in the Colorado mountains. Sara enjoys working closely with families to develop home programs that truly work for them. She uses a child-directed approach and loves using creativity to build a fun therapy experience. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and daughter. |
Nicole Morrison, PT, DPT
Insurance Specialist Nicole grew up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 from Northeastern University in Boston. Since then, Nicole worked at various hospitals in the Denver area. She is a Certified Clinical Instructor and is experienced in treating adolescents and adults post traumatic accidents, orthopedic surgeries and neurologic injuries. In her free time, Nicole enjoys trying new foods, traveling and spending time with her husband and two young children. She loves Colorado and is excited to call it her home! |
Caroline McDermott
Therapy Aide Caroline grew up moving around to numerous cities and countries and is now residing in Boulder, CO after recently graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. Caroline first joined KidSPOT in the summer of 2018 as a volunteer, returned summer 2019 as an intern, and summer 2020 as a Therapist and Office Assistant. She is applying to Occupational Therapy programs to begin in 2021. In her free time, Caroline enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, exploring Boulder, and spending time with friends and family. |
