KidSPOT is not currently hosting active programs during the winter months. If you have any questions about program offerings, please email hello@boulderkidspot.com for more information.
KidsMOVE
KidsMove is an outdoor circuit of purposeful sensory motor-based activities to help with attention, regulation, and engagement as a compliment to virtual learning. Supervision and facilitation of activities from 2 therapists will be provided, however, kids are expected to be able to rotate through the stations with minimal verbal prompting from the 2 therapists leading. If that expectation seems too challenging for your child, we invite a parent or guardian to help them through!
Aquatic Program
KidSPOT offers adaptive swimming lessons and aquatic therapy to children of all ages. Both are offered in a one-on-one session to meet the individual needs of the child.
Adaptive swimming lessons are led by a therapist and focus on increasing functional swimming abilities for children with disabilities. These classes increase a child’s ability to swim and play in the water.
Aquatic therapy is led by pediatric physical therapist and is beneficial for children of all ages who need a low-gravity environment to build strength, coordination, and range of motion in their body. A pediatric physical therapist can tell you if your child is a candidate for this type of therapy.

Feeding Group
KidSPOT’s Feeding Groups are for children whose picking eating has lead to problem feeding. Children who may be appropriate for this group have fewer than ten proteins (including dairy products), ten starchy foods (like bread, pasta, potatoes, etc), and/or ten fruits/vegetables. (See the candidate criteria list below to see if your child is a fit for KidSPOT'S Feeding Group.)
Groups are lead by two occupational therapists who have trained in the SOS Feeding approach. This approach focuses on experiencing foods with all of our senses to encourage interacting with new foods. These groups have 3-4 children matched on skills and age. They focus on increasing the types of foods that a child eats, including different textures, tastes, colors, and food groups.

Kid's Yoga
KidSPOT created a kid's yoga program with the goal of bringing yoga to children of all ability levels, and seek to meet the needs of children who may not feel successful in other yoga classes. Our PT and OT yoga instructors leverage evidence based practice to improve overall strength, develop social skills and relationships, increase attention and focus, and practice mind-body awareness in a fun and playful environment.
Partners in Play
Partners in Play is a social skills groups for toddlers and young children with delayed play and language skills. Children are matched in groups of 2-3 children with similar play and language abilities.
Partner and play groups focus on playing next to a peer (parallel play), staying in a group, or working toward a common goal in play. These groups run 2-3 times a year. We require parents/caregivers to participate in group activities. It is our goal to educate the child's guardian on ways to support and build play skills at home.
